Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Slinkee, a bookmark manager available at slinkee.app. By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Slinkee.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Slinkee. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. Slinkee may suspend or close accounts that appear to be inactive, fraudulent, or otherwise in violation of these terms.

Acceptable use

When using Slinkee, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload, store, or share content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or harmful, or that contains malware or otherwise harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, to Slinkee infrastructure, or to data not intended for you.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the service, including by scraping at a rate that would degrade availability for other users.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any part of the service, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits this.
• Use the service to send unsolicited messages or to harvest contact information about other users.

Your content

You retain ownership of the bookmarks, descriptions, tags, notes, and other content you save in Slinkee. By using the service you grant Slinkee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process your content solely as needed to operate the service for you. If you explicitly choose to make a collection or tag public, you also grant Slinkee permission to display that content to other visitors who have the link.

You are responsible for the content you save in Slinkee and for ensuring you have the rights to save and share it.

Slinkee's content and trademarks

All software, design, text, logos, and other materials provided by Slinkee remain the property of Slinkee or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms do not grant you any right or license to use the Slinkee name, logo, or any related trademarks without prior written permission.

Service availability and changes

Slinkee strives to keep the service available and reliable but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Slinkee may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, with or without notice. Slinkee may also add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the settings page. Slinkee may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if continued access poses a security or legal risk, or if Slinkee discontinues the service. Upon termination, Slinkee will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Slinkee does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any data loss will not occur.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slinkee will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Slinkee harmless from any claim, demand, or damages arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.

Changes to these terms

Slinkee may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
